ABOUT KEVIN

Kevin started singing in church at the age of 7 in the Sunshine Band, a well-known children’s auxiliary in the COGIC church, grew to become a Puritan, and eventually matured to become a leader in the church choir. However, he started cutting his teeth in music well before church, singing without rest around the house and in the car riding with the family. As he grew in talent and anointing many started to notice something special about Kevin’s gift. Influenced by gospel greats of the era such as Daryl Coley, John P Kee, Commissioned, The Winans, and the Clark Sisters, just to name a few, music became a life focus and a journey of purpose for Kevin.

The community choir, college choir, eventually working as a staff worship leader for a few different churches were all a part of the journey of becoming. Becoming not just another artist, but arriving at a place of simply fulfilling a purpose and walking as a conduit of worship and praise so that all that experience the gift that was placed in him from birth would ultimately experience the presence and power of God the creator.

Kevin has appeared on numerous recordings and shared the

stage with the likes of many artists, both gospel and secular.

 

Kevin resides in the Atlanta GA Metropolitan area with his wife

of 16 years and two sons and serve as a worship leader at the

dReam Center Church of Atlanta where Bishop William H Murphy III

is the pastor.
